Survivor: Redemption Island Finale Preview, Who Will Be The Winner?

Tonight is the big night! The series finale of Survivor: Redemption Island. We have seen the last 35 days how The Game has evolved, especially with the new twist of Redemption Island, giving those booted off from their tribes a second chance at getting back in The Game. In tonight?s 2-hour finale, we will see how the last four of 39 days are played out. Which one of those on Redemption Island will succeed in returning? More importantly, who will win the $1 Million grand prize and the bragging rights of being the sole survivor?

I suppose if one had o pick likely candidates to be the Survivor: Redemption Island winner, two names would top the list, ?Boston? Rob Mariano and Matt Elrod. Especially since my favorite Survivor, Russell Hantz, was booted from The Game long ago. Mariano has been playing an expert social game in true ?Rob-father? style. He has controlled and manipulated his tribe mates from Day One. Everybody who has been voted off from either the Ometepe or Murlonio Tribes has been so at the hands of Rob. Nothing has happened without his approval and consent.

The remaining Ometepe/Murlonio players: Phillip, Natalie and Ashley, are there for generally one single reason, Rob has allowed them to stay, more or less. Mariano?s End-Game strategy is to take Natalie and Phillip to the Final Three, confident that The Jury will not give either Phillip or Natalie the grand prize. Phillip has irritated far too many people and Natalie is the classic coat-tail-rider, doing little on her own. Rob still has a hidden immunity idol, which he will have to play very soon. Especially with the prospects of somebody returning from Redemption Island.

Of those, Matt, Andrea, Mike and Grant, much of this season?s story line has been built around the saga of Matt Elrod. The young Christian who?s faith in God has carried him through thick and thin. Matt won every single, one-on-one ?duel? while on Redemption Island. He returned once to The Game, only to be voted off immediately as Boston Rob does not trust him. If anybody deserves a second, or third shot at winning, it is Matt. Mike, Grant and Andrea are strong competitors, but Matt seems to have that extra edge going for him, whether you credit it to mere luck, or divine intervention.

My prediction is for ?Boston? Rob Mariano to be the Survivor: Redemption Island winner during tonight?s season finale. If there is any justice, Matt Elrod will win the $100,000 prize as fan-favorite. I can hardly wait for the post-game reunion show which will immediate follow the 2-hour season finale, just to hear Russell Hantz complain about how stupid the Zapatera Tribe was for deliberately throwing an Immunity Challenge to vote him off. Once they did that, Zapatera fell apart and was picked off one-by-one.

Like many soap stars before her, former Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson journeyed to Hollywood in the hope of finding a career on the big screen.

After landing a role in U.S. horror sequel Boogeyman 3, the 24-year-old was no doubt hoping it would prove her big break.

But after the film went straight to DVD, it seems Nikki, who played gobby teen Candice in Corrie, may have to wait a bit longer to make it in America.

Used to posing in her lingerie for tabloids and lads' mags, Nikki is no stranger to stripping off and has a nude scene in the gory movie.

In the film, Nikki plays an American college student Audrey, whose father Doctor Allen died in the previous movie Boogeyman 2.

Upon reading her father's diary, Audrey realises the fable of the Boogeyman - a mythical monster who plays on people's fears to scare them - may actually be true.

Dr Allen's theory claimed his patients' belief in the Boogeyman itself could actually make the creature become real.

A hysterical Audrey arrives crying at the dorm room door of her friend Sarah (Erin Cahill) and asks to stay the night.

Before they know it, word of the Boogeyman has spread across campus and one by one, people's fear of the monster becomes reality as students start dying.

Gossip Girl Cuts Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr

For some ungodly reason the CW renewed Gossip Girl for a fifth season which is good news for fans but not all of them because both Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr have been cut from the cast.

TV Guide confirmed the news yesterday that both actresses wont be returning to the show as regulars but they have been invited back to guest-star in a couple of episodes next season.

This shouldn?t come across as a big surprise for fans though, Taylor only appeared in 4 episodes this past season and has been rumored to be wanting to leave the show anyway. Jessica on the other hand has always been in the back of the show and this past season her character left town.

As for what?s up for both of them next it?s expected that Taylor will focus on her band The Pretty Reckless, who I actually love, and Jessica will focus on movie deals she has been offered.

How this show is still going I will never know.

Lizzy Jagger has decided to strip down and pose nude for the June edition of Playboy magazine and she is looking pretty damn hot in nothing but a bunny ears hat, knee high boots and her hair hiding her boobs.

The 27-year-old was once banned from appearing in the magazine by her father, Mick Jagger, decided she would follow in the footsteps of her mother, Jerry Hall, by posing for Playboy.

On posing nude: ?I?m kind of a topless person, I?m quite European, so when I?m at the beach, I prefer to be topless.?

On what people might think of her: ?People assume that because I was brought up on Rolling Stones tours and my father is who he is, I?m some kind of rock-and-roll bad girl, but I do like to have a bit of fun.?

Well I, for one, am delighted that Mick Jagger decided to give his approval for Lizzy to pose nude for Playboy because she is pretty damn hot.

The Obama grandmother threat was issued by an Al Qaeda linked group called Al Shabaab, causing officials to provide her with additional security.

The woman in question is actually his step-grandmother Sarah Obama, who lives in Kenya. Reports state that the need for security had already been re-evaluated following Bin Laden?s death, but that Kenyan officials will provide even more.

Most observers note that such threats are just a matter of rhetoric and don?t usually amount to anything. In fact, the threat is just one of many issued by Al Qaeda and its affiliates since the news broke that Bin Laden was killed. Nonetheless, they are apparently not taking it lightly.

If you check out the video below, I think you?ll agree that this lady is probably not scared in the slightest by these guys. She looks like the kind of woman who doesn?t mess around. In fact, she had this to say:

?My life has not been affected in any way?It has not restricted my movement. If the government has decided to bring more security personnel, we are OK with it.?

Normally this site is dedicated to entertainment news, but I couldn?t resist. As if we needed any more evidence that terrorists act in cowardly ways, now they are threatening grandmothers.

Of all the hard-line beliefs that many terrorists have, shouldn?t there be one about the matriarch of a person?s family? Some of them parade around beating women who don?t fall into their ideological vision, but they don?t seem to have any problem issuing death threats against an 88-year-old granny?

Can?t they just stick to the regular business of beheading people and illegally boarding ships? Don?t they find pleasure in that anymore?
